How we work and what you get

After launch, sites and hosting need ongoing care: CMS, theme and plugin updates, PHP or Node runtimes, and security advisories. Feather Studio offers maintenance plans with clear SLAs — what is included, response times and how tickets are logged.

Regular backups (database + files) and tested restores reduce data-loss risk. We store copies off-site and rotate retention according to policy.

Uptime and performance monitoring: availability checks, alerts on outages or error spikes, Core Web Vitals reviews and spots where load regressed after a change. Fast diagnostics save hours of debugging.

Security patches and hardening: admin access limits, 2FA where possible, brute-force protection, WAF rules when needed and user account reviews. After major updates we smoke-test key pages and forms.

Editorial support: help publishing news, seasonal banners or small template tweaks within agreed hours. Larger functional work is scoped as mini-projects with separate estimates.

Client reporting can be monthly: what was updated, performance metrics, incidents and recommendations. Transparency builds long-term trust and prevents silent technical debt.
